Alejandra Acevedo, Esq. is an Attorney Associate at Elevation Law, LLC, where she practices immigration law. She started her career in immigration law at the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN), where she represented unaccompanied children in removal proceedings. Before joining RMIAN, she held positions in the anti-human trafficking field at the Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center, U.S. Department of State Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, and the National District Attorneys Association, National Center for Prosecution of Child Abuse. Prior to her legal career, she was an elementary school Exceptional Student Education Teacher (Self-Contained). Alejandra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political science, certificate in International Relations, and Minor in Mass communications from the University of Florida, and a Juris Doctorate from the Washington College of Law, American University.
